Yep, its hard to believe Call of Duty 6 will be coming out this fall. This is one of the few FPS' that I really enjoy playing, and I'm sure this one will be no exception. If DoH doesn't have a main game to play by the time this comes out, I will likely be picking it up just to have something else to play around with.

Looks cool, I will probably get it as I like FPS games like that because you can log in and frag for thirty mins no problem.  COD series has always had good multiplayer playability.

So a lot of unrest in the community about this game for two reasons as far as I can tell:

1. The price: they want $60.
2. No dedicated servers: Infinity Ward is using a matchmaking system they are calling IWNet, similar to what is found in console games. Bastards.

No dedicated servers is really causing that community to be in an uproar! People like to police their own servers, ban the CS wannabe bots and such...

Yeah,

It pisses me off too because once I find servers I like those are usually the only ones I play on.

Really sucks for clan gaming, I think its going to have an impact on their sales... thing is the game has been hyped up for so long before this was announced I don't know that it will make much difference in the end.

Was going to pick it up after work today but ended up working late... will have it for tomorrow though, will be playing in the afternoon (Remembrance Day parade then the somewhat-requisite drinking in the mess after that).  Hopefully there will be some sort of mechanism to end up in the same game.

Ya you can join a game with friends I believe. No dedicated servers good and bad. Its nice to just click find game and away you go. On the negative you don't have those few good servers that you always play on, so you wont really see the same other players very often. Other than that the game kicks ass.
