You talking about the 40k MMO, or WAR (Warhammer Online)? They are two different games and we're talking about the 40k MMO, not WAR in this thread.

They look good. I'm probably really the only one familiar with 40k, but these renders are dead-on.

Wow, those are really good, they put a lot of effort into making them accurate.

Looks like they are taking the same style approach as WAR, which is fine. Hopefully it means you don't need a $2k rig to run it. From a 40K nerd standpoint it looks like all the basics are there and they look good. I noticed a reticule on the Marine using a bolter so I'm wondering if this may be an MMOFPS? If so I'd have the biggest nerd hardon.

I have not kept up on this game at all.  Any word on a beta close or open and a possible release date?

Personally I am still looking forward to the new Star Wars game over another WARHammer.  Yet, a warhammer without EAMythic could be good.

There hasn't been much info. I think they were waiting on this E3 to start pushing the info out. The rumored date I heard for release was 2012, so not anytime soon and also no info on alpha, beta, whateva.

That looks a whole lot like a mix of Starcraft and World of Warcraft... Both games which I happen to love !!!!

Funny you'd say that. Blizzard is a team who splintered off from Games Workshop, the company who is responsible for Warhammer 40K, which of course this MMO is of. Warhammer 40K is a table top game, FYI. That's one of the things I love about 40K, the setting is awesome. It's this Victorian, gothic post-apocalyptic atmosphere.
